And now from Kinetika Records:
Kinetika’s Wolfman’s Latest Mixtape!!
And then some more awesomeness from RCRD LBL (what would life be without RCRD LBL????), adore away:
Radiohead
These Are My Twisted Words
If you haven’t heard about this new Radiohead song, then you probably don't have the best Internet connection. Such hullabaloo over a five-and-a-half minute track that’s basically just Phil Selway doing his thing—aka being the steadiest drummer in the world other than Charlie Watts. Dude never gets a fair shake.

AutoErotique
Gladiator (Steve Aoki x DJ AM Remix)
AutoErotique have a new single due through our pals at Dim Mak called “Gladiator,” featuring remixes from Blogula, Depressed Buttons, Klever, AC Slater, and the marquee combo of Steve Aoki and DJ AM. Those two’s belligerently hype version is below—but only for one week.

Boris
Buzz In (Optimo Remix)
To call Japan’s Boris “legendary” would be gratuitous, but considering they’ve released fourteen albums of eminently rapturous guitar music, they deserve a classification more complimentary than “long-running”. Optimo are sort of the most adaptable DJs on the planet, so obviously their remix seems like the most naturally mutated, as if adding congas and milky way synth arpeggios was the most perfectly normal thing to do.

We Have Band
You Came Out (Blamma! Blamma!’s Fleetwood Mix)
Blamma! Blamma! take the whip-sharp “You Came Out” by We Have Band, swap out its ESG-inspired drum fills for something steadier and more club-traditional, deploy every electronic card up their sleeves, and transform a tight, funky little hit into an all-night-long burner.

And now, a new track from NAPT:
NAPT - Fortune (12 inch Dub Mix)
And before we get into some awesome new RCRD LBL stuff, there is a a cool new track from Poptrash:
Poptrash – Pomomofo (Remix)
And now for some RCRD LBL goodies, enjoy:
Simian Mobile Disco
Audacity of Huge (Dekker & Johan Remix)
There’s something of the 80’s infamous excess here; Yeasayer’s Chris Keating providing vocals that demand love in return for money, bleeps devising a similarly psychotic and possessive plan for clubland ears.

A Place To Bury Strangers
The Light (Love And Rockets Cover)
There is perhaps no current band better suited to cover goth-rock legends Love and Rockets than A Place To Bury Strangers. We certainly get that in their version of “The Light,” from 1987’s Earth Sun And Moon, though they swapped the original’s acoustics for belligerent sheets of pedal noise. Shocking! MP3 is only up for a week, so get the goods while you can.

A Place to Bury Strangers
Sally Shapiro
Love in July
The video for this track features a journeying goldfish and glacially-impeded whale that have us squeezing tears from our reddened eyes; the tune has us grinning to the crystallized beat. Maybe we’re supposed to feel conflicted. Sally Shapiro is a Swedish, Italo-discopopstar, after all.

Private
My Secret Lover (Diplo Remix)
If this track was ungrippably sleek beforehand, Diplo’s taken smooth to a whole new level, but there’s toughness here too; rare, spick and span production backed by vinyl fetish crackle and rude, swollen bass. Private + Diplo = sexy, sexy toad. Hop on it.
Private - My Secret Lover (Diplo Remix)

Noah and the Whale
Blue Skies (YACHT Remix)
YACHT hooked this remix up with synths that spring over disco stomp and camp vocodered vocals that should be more than enough to entice you into swallowing this up.

TOXIC AVENGER 29th AUGUST 2009 JOBURG
While France continues as the dominating powerhouse for electro-dance, the growing independent scene keeps churning out all-night-long party DJs, with The Toxic Avenger quickly rising as the premiere Frenchman capable of taking the dance floor to a new level. Defining his style as ” Emotronic / Christian Rap / Thrash” Toxic, from his real name, Simon DeLacroix, developed a noisy, scratchy and heavily saturated sound, but keeping a melodic line that sometimes recalls many Ed Banger and other French house groups. The Toxic Avenger has been made popular thanks to various podcasts, MySpace, and the two-dance floor killers that are Saloperie De Minimale and Superheroes. The Toxic Avenger has also expressed his talent throughout numerous remixes notably The Secret Handshake, Dragonette, Sexual Earthquake in Kobe’s “Love with ChloĆ« Sevigny”, “Dance Among the Ruins” by Tommie Sunshine featuring Peaches, and Ladytron’s “Ghosts”. His electro styling makes for remarkable slots of dancing hyperactivity.
Signed to IHEARTCOMIX Records, in 2007, The Toxic Avenger was named by Rolling Stone as “One of the five most influential electronic artists of the year” alongside Justice, LCD Soundsystem, Digitalism and Simian Mobile Disco. The Toxic Avenger draws from a number of distinct influences not directly related to the dance scene. The Toxic Avenger has played with many of the current greats including Erol Alkan, MSTRKRFT, Boys Noize, Kavinsky and Crystal Castles. He’s even played what is known as a ‘Zenith’ (a venue of over 10,000 people) in France with Vitalic, and completed two successful six-week tours in the US with IHEARTCOMIX founder and fellow DJ, Franki Chan
