TRASH YOURSELF!, Shady Valley Movie, U L T E R I O R

Some good fiends of mine are raising money for a movie they are making, go to their page and help where you can, they are awesome people and deserve whatever they can get: Shady Valley Fan Page

PLUS, if you do not know U L T E R I O R by now, an awesome band who were on Disc Error but are now releasing their own label called Speed Records which is affiliated to Disc Error, they have remixed Micron 63, plus a brand new soon to be released official Tom Vek remix for the new album, they have also played alongside bands such as The Horrors, A Place To Bury Strangers, and have supported the likes of Sisters of Mercy, White Rose Movement, ROMANCE etc, then you should listen up, these Post Punk Noize/Grindcore Dark Electronic Experimental Industro-Goth are poised to go GLOBAL.

They have a new album out called Wild In Wildlfe which we at AWARE are honored to be the only people in South Africa to have it in store.

Here they are live at the fantastic HOXTONS in London:

here's an interview with them from a while back on Lastfm:

Look out for some awesome news coming up SOON.

COOL, so this weekend is Town Hall's 1st BIRTHDAY Party I'll be going, even though I should be playing at this party!!!!
PLUS, our Suicide Tuesday and Artfag Thursday has officially been joined by SUNDAY BEST, this past weekend we had the fantastic Gil Hockman and Shortstraw. This coming weekend we have Shotgun Tori et al, it's more a folk vibe, giving voice to the disaffected lone guitar player with a lonely voice warming you up with their despair, come, you will like it, it's at The Place Previously Known As Bob Rocks which has the coolest music played by the coolest Dj's, and the cheapest drinks served by the prettiest bar ladies.

Our shop AWARE is doing well, we have been featured in HEAT (Thanks the fantastic Jo-Anne King she is ALSO a Flamenco Dancer and has some awesome Dance shows coming up, you should make friends with her, she's cool), Mail & Guardian (thanks Lisa) as well as up and coming features in GQ and Marie-Claire.

Thanks Hapi for the cool comment, I only saw it now:), it's a labour of love.

RIGHT, time to stop now, work and stuff, but before I go, next week, Pelussje is here with Haezer courtesy of GRIET, check the event out HERE it promises to be awesome and apparently the Lazer show will make you wet your panties...
