Soooooo, now we are sprinting headlong towards 2010, I am SOOOOO glad to be seeing the end of 2009, I have been letting the music pile up so here is another monster post for all of you my pretties!! Thanks to everyone for your support. I hope you all have a magnificent break over the festive season whatever your belief system and that, it's a time for family and loved ones. Take care of everyone, I witnessed an ugly scene last night at a pub with an abusive steroid moron abusing his girlfriend and her friend, we helped as much as we could. It was ugly, fortunately it all ended okay, I just hope the girl has the good sense to boot the fucker into touch where he belongs, in the gutter amongst the dregs of society, prefferably being gang raped by small Pygmy illiterates with Barbwire for condoms!
Anyhoo, love has not treated me kindly....lets hope it does soon:

Miike Snow
Animal (Mark Ronson Remix)
“Animal” always sounded warm weather appropriate, so this revision from Mark Ronson, with its coy organ taps and swelling horns, is taking that idea to its logical end. And what an insanely pleasant, dubby end that is. Don’t sleep on the falsetto riffing towards the end—truly enchanting stuff.

Amanda Blank
DJ (Viking Remix)
Having already put his drive-time electro stamp on Amanda Blank’s “Shame On Me,” Virginia knob tweaker Viking returns to the fold for this version of her selector paean, “DJ,” cutting its unbridled club lust with incessant, snaky arpeggios.

Air
Do The Joy
While Air have never sounded tied down, “Do The Joy” is an especially weightless odyssey, floating spaceward on Hitchcockian synths and warped radio transmissions. They try tethering it to simple drums and piano, but this one just wants to get gone.

The Soft Pack
C’Mon
2010 holds the promise of a new, self-titled album from The Soft Pack and to whet your appetite, we’re sharing with you “C’Mon,” the record’s innervating, R.E.M.-ish opener.

Atlas Sound
Shelia
Few solo side-projects are worth their weight in hype, but the obtuse, collage-y songs Deerhunter lynchpin Bradford Cox makes as Atlas Sound certainly are. His second album under the moniker, Logos, crests with this gorgeous strummer about making a deal with a friend to bury one another.
