Fresh talent Djedjotronic is at the controls and he ropes in his friend South African rapper Spoek from the BRILLIANT SWEAT X to lay down lyrics for what he calls ‘electronic bitchy dance’.
Four tracks on this EP then and first up is ‘Dirty & Hard’… the original is full on boom bass for peak-time party…. very funky and just the right side of filthy! The remix from head honcho Boys Noize introduces some nifty vocal treatment and beeps and bleeps for a heavy tech workout… ‘Horror Klub’ is a warping twisted hip-house belter and ‘Gum Attack’ is a sonic assault great for knocking the crowd side-ways! If that wasn’t enough also included here is a bonus remix of ‘Dirty & Hard’ by Congorock… his hyper bassline fury will do the trick nicely! A fantastic EP then and Djedjotronic a name to watch out for in ’09!
23 years old Djedjotronic (aka Jeremy) discovered electronic music through Warp and UR, a decade ago. He started his career through meeting now infamous mate Popof and released a couple of collaborations and toured a strong live PA together under the name Wee-Kids. His excellent debut EP ‘Turn Off’ was released in 2007 on Level75, and got huge support from Busy P, Justice, Oliver Huntemann and Mr Oizo. He has also completed remixes and productions for Busy P and UNKLE.
